About Alison Krauss & Union Station

Born July 23, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois, Alison Krauss is a bluegrass, country, and Americana vocalist & fiddler known for her clarity and emotional depth. Alongside Union Station, she’s famous for hits like “When You Say Nothing at All” and “Baby, Now That I’ve Found You.” Their latest album, Arcadia, released March 28, 2025, marks their first since 2011’s Paper Airplane, and introduces Russell Moore as co-lead vocalist. Krauss has won 27 Grammys, been inducted into the Bluegrass Hall of Fame, and collaborated notably with Robert Plant on Raising Sand and Raise the Roof.
